Western Illinois University

The atmosphere is rustic and relaxed, a perfect place for family reunions, youth group get-togethers, business meetings, weddings, professional and academic conferences, office retreats, and other gatherings.
  • We offer multiple meeting facilities across campus, with seating for ten up to 1,000.

We can also assist you in planning your group’s meal requirements for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Sodexo Campus Services provides food service for all your dining needs ranging from brown bag lunches to catered receptions.

Historic Oakland

Convenient to get to yet it feels like a world away. A beautiful mansion with 6 rooms, a lovely ballroom and a large tent in our wooded backyard. Also a front yard and side garden that can be used for ceremonies of all types. Rooms can be rented individually.

University of Maryland, College Park

Events are more than special at the University of Maryland at College Park - they're our specialty.

The University of Maryland is a terrific venue for conferences, seminars, camps, workshops, and special events. Located just nine miles from our Nation’s capital and a short drive from Annapolis and Baltimore, our 1,650 acre campus (a registered botanical garden) has idyllic settings for any event.

Among our wide variety of campus facilities is the spectacular Xfinity Center, a 17,950-seat arena and home to Maryland Terrapins basketball; and Memorial Chapel which seats 1,000 plus two ballrooms that seat 1,000 theater style and up to 600 for banquets. There are 400 concurrent meeting venues on campus designed to suit every imaginable requirement. From break-out rooms to boardrooms, from classrooms to theaters, to large gymnasiums and multi-purpose rooms, the University of Maryland offers it all. And we have beautiful outdoor spaces that nicely complement and expand upon our indoor meeting sites.

Each summer, our residence halls offer lodging accommodations for up to 9,000 persons per day, and feature a range of options from traditional college dormitory style to suite/apartment style lodging. Our in-house dining service features nutritious menus developed by our very own food service staff, and our Catering staff will work with you to make every event a memorable culinary experience.
Our Recreation Center features an indoor and an outdoor pool, as well as facilities for racquetball, basketball, aerobics, weight training, cardio workout, and an indoor running track. We also offer the University of Maryland Challenge Course featuring a rock wall and ropes course. The TerpZone offers billiards, bowling, and video gaming in a state-of-the-art indoor recreation venue. And if your group would like to take a side trip to Annapolis, Baltimore, and/or Washington, DC, we have a fleet of luxury motor coaches for charter assignments.

Recently named "Most Easily Accessible Venue" by Unique Venues magazine, we are within 35 minutes of three international airports (Dulles, Reagan National, and Thurgood Marshall BWI). Metro, Marc commuter rail, regional bus options, and other methods will get you to campus quickly and cost-effectively. Nichols College

In the historical and scenic town of Dudley Massachusetts, Nichols College is the ideal location for, but not limited to: Conferences, seminars, camps/workshops, and retreats. This centrally located New England venue is easily accessible to five major cities. Sitting on 200 acres of land, Nichols College represents its rural background while providing an abundance of on-site and local area attractions. At Nichols, we provide exceptional on-site event coordinating services and pay great attention to detail, so you don’t have to.

We offer a large variety of campus facilities and breakout space to suit all needs. Our lodging accommodations include seven residence halls, ranging from a tradition college dorm style to suite/apartment style lodging. Our largest lodging accommodations can hold up to 366 occupants. We also offer smaller accommodations for a more intimate and connective effect. Facilities include class rooms in a variety of our buildings, which can be used for recreational or breakout space. Each classroom is well equipped with audio and visual lectern. This includes a PC, DVD/VHS player, LCD overhead projectors, and the ability to connect various devices such as a laptop. Along with lodging and traditional classroom breakout space, we also offer an auditorium for theater, banquets, or general conference meetings. We also have a newly renovated Recreation and Athletic Center equipped with a field house, gym, rock wall, aerobics room, racquetball courts, and weight and cardio workout space. The Athletic Center also occupies baseball and softball fields, basketball courts, a football/field hockey/lacrosse field, and a soccer field. Our facilities provide an extensive variety of uses, above satisfactory for any needs.

Catering is also provided at Nichols College during your stay. Guests have the ability to eat in our campus dining hall, with food service provided by Sodexo. The catering staff will work with your group to make any event memorable. From simple to elegant, our catering manager will ensure that you can rest easy and enjoy your event.

With over 7,000 sq feet of meeting space, we have the optimal setting for your corporate seminars, board meetings, galas, private dining,  cocktail receptions, weddings and special events. We have 6 distinct event spaces that host functions from an intimate dinner for 10 to a large conference for 200.  We also have a 27 room hotel located right on the property with group hotel rates available with any special event group booking.
