What began in 1908 as a private social club for journalists has evolved into a world-class business and conference center that hosts more than 2,000 public and private events annually. The 12 event spaces inside the venue each boast a distinct ambience and historic charm, and can be configured any type of program (reception, banquet, theatre, classroom, etc.) The National Press Club’s historic ballroom has 4,500 square feet of event space with floor to ceiling windows and stunning wood ceilings. The Ballroom is the perfect setting for lavish events, dinners, meetings and weddings and can accommodate between 100 and 500 guests. No high-caliber event is complete without excellent foodservice, and National Press Club’s full-service in-house catering team provides creative and delicious cuisine that uses the freshest ingredients and fresh locally sourced seafood. And because the National Press Club hosts events that are broadcast live around the globe, there is the highest emphasis on quality A/V service and top quality tech support services for events of all types.
