Kings Courtyard Inn

About

The majestic Kings Courtyard Inn is situated on King Street in Charleston and is a founding member of Historic Hotels of America. In order to oversee its construction, Colonel J. Charles Blum hired Francis D. Lee, an architect, in 1853. Lee included Greek Revival architecture with Egyptian-inspired accents. The structure had a significant refurbishment in 1983 that resulted in the creation of the current Kings Courtyard Inn. Since then, the 41-room Inn has been regarded as one of Charleston’s most lovely lodging options, where visitors are lavished with comforts of the South.
There are 12 foot ceilings in every room, which all feature unique, tastefully maintained original hardwood floors.
