Hotel Boulderado

About

Being Boulder’s first five-star hotel, Hotel Boulderado debuted on New Year’s Day 1909 to cheering crowds and was dubbed “the pride of the city” by the local newspaper. This historic structure’s architectural features from the Italian Renaissance have been painstakingly restored to their former magnificence, and the original 1906 Otis elevator is still in use today. The Hotel Boulderado displays traditional grandeur throughout, from the stunning stained glass canopy over the entrance to the cantilevered cherrywood staircase and the Victorian furnishings.
