Casa Marina Hotel & Resturant

About

The Roaring Twenties were in full flow when Casa Marina Hotel & Restaurant debuted in 1925, and Jacksonville Beach was a popular hangout for the affluent and glitzy. The Spanish Mediterranean-style inn was the first contemporary fireproof structure at the beach and boasted an automatic sprinkler system. A series of proprietors transformed the hotel into a variety of businesses as the carefree years gave way to the war years, from a tea room to a 37-room apartment block. The original building featured a veranda and a third-story penthouse lounge by 1991. Nowadays, it proudly accommodates over 150 weddings annually and runs with 23 premium guestrooms and parlor suites. The Grand Lady of the Beach, Villa Marina, is celebrating almost a century of romance.
