Visit Airlie, a lovely location on 300 acres in the countryside of Northern Virginia. About 50 miles from Washington, DC, there is a location where couples celebrate fairytale weddings, leaders join together to form teams, and tourists enjoy a true escape. Harry Groome had no idea what the site would develop into when he erected Airlie House and Farm in 1899.
Airlie offers soul-stirring experiences that foster personal growth, from a “Island of Thought” where change agents molded the future and Environment Day was founded to a resort destination with a modern farm—where food comes directly from the soil and pastures to guests’ plates.
