Unique Venues is proud to announce that our own Corey Salem, Certified CultureTalk Partner and Director of Sales at Unique Venues, has won the Goodwin Awards’ First Flight award. The Goodwin Awards recognize Steve Goodwin – a Certified CultureTalk Partner who passed away unexpectedly – and celebrate his innovative spirit and dedication to the field.
The First Flight award specifically honors Corey’s first CultureTalk presentation at ACCED-I in March 2023 and his first team training with the Housing and Residence Life Team at George Mason University in April 2023. This recognition celebrates his introduction of the CultureTalk system to the collegiate conference world, cementing his place as an innovative thought leader in the industry.
“I was so excited and completely caught off guard when I was announced the winner of this award,” said Corey. “It’s truly an honor to receive this recognition from my peers in the field. I am a huge proponent of CultureTalk and will continue to rely on the framework to help educate campus conference leaders on the importance of organizational culture, team development, and personality type indicators as a Certified CultureTalk Partner.”
CultureTalk is a culture assessment tool designed for individuals and organizations looking to evaluate their personal or corporate cultures for self-awareness, improvement, or alignment purposes. By introducing CultureTalk at ACCED-I and GMU, Corey helped launch a powerful educational program that has been highly sought after since then.
