MEET OUR TEAM MEMBER
Corey Salem
Director of Sales
Corey rejoined the Unique Venues team in January 2020 after a four-year stint as the Director of Member Engagement with NACAS, the National Association of College Auxiliary Services. Prior to that, he supported Unique Venues initiatives as a summertime intern and was then hired as the Member Services Coordinator. He currently serves as Director of Sales and Client Success with Unique Venues and has taken on multiple roles with Intern Housing Hub, the new listing site for collegiate summer housing properties. In 2022, Corey completed the CultureTalk Certification program, and is certified to help individuals and organizations explore the cultural archetypes that drive their motivations and actions.
Outside of work, Corey’s main passion is soccer, both playing and watching! Additionally, Corey enjoys travelling, listening to music, cooking, and playing video and board games.
- My nickname is ‘Saucy,’ and I got it while working at an Italian restaurant while in high school.
- I like to sing Love Shack at karaoke parties.
- I got my degree in Secondary Education, Social Studies. I’m happy to talk with anyone about my favorite subject, geography!
Most memorable trip you’ve ever been on and what made it so special?
I recently visited England and got to cross off a big bucket list item – seeing Chelsea FC play live at Stamford Bridge! It was special because there was a moment I never thought I’d be able to experience it for myself.
Corey lives with his wife, Kathryn & pup Winston in Charlottesville, VA.
