University Conference Centers - Yale

Is your group considering top university conference centers on the East Coast for your next event? When it comes to academia in the States, the Ivy League is the cream of the crop, and Yale's soaring Gothic and Georgian architecture does much to lend it a premier place on that august list. What could possibly be more impressive than hosting a conference, meeting or other non-profit educational program than to host the event at the venerable Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut?

Located just 40 miles from Hartford, 60 miles from New York and 140 miles from Boston, the campus is very convenient for local and fly-in guests alike. The Bradley International Airport in Hartford makes the Yale Campus easily accessible to the entire world.

Needless to say, this Ivy League school affords state-of-the-art technology. You'll find advanced AV facilities in meeting rooms, computer lab space within the residence halls, both internet and phones (with voicemail) for lodging guests, as well as high-tech security throughout the event facilities and campus. Lecture halls, theatre-style seating, and movable seating rooms, each with its own unique layout and styling, make it easy to find the right feel and mood for your presentation. Dining facilities are another of the many things that make Yale University a unique venue. The President's Room can be hired out for small dining parties, and there's a reception hall for formal (or casual) dining in this amazing special event space. Or choose the Peabody Museum of Natural History for receptions and dinners both large and small – with a full-sized dinosaur as centerpiece, and a color prehistoric mural for the background! The traditional and commons dining halls are also available. Even there, nothing is common about such a venerable institution! Catering services provide coffee service, snacks, receptions, banquets and business lunches. Attendees' regular daily meals can be had by cafeteria service to reduce costs. If being at Yale isn't already exciting enough, consider a dining sail on one of the two resident tallships, or just head off campus to enjoy some of the many eclectic international restaurants found just down the street in downtown New Haven.

Classroom space is available from mid-May to mid-August; campus housing begins a month later and ends in the first week of August. Rooms each have private baths. As many as five hundred attendees can be hosted, 180 of them overnight. Special package rates are available on a daily and weekly basis, to include housing, lodgings and meals. All of these elements help make Yale one of the top East Coast conference centers.

The reputation of the Ivy League schools is well earned. Yale has a longstanding history that speaks for itself. This is just a very small overview of the many features of the Yale university conference center, which also includes museums, art collections, a huge gymnasium, and health center, cultural events and much more!
