Venues in the Pacific Northwest

Nature is at its finest in the Pacific Northwest. Covering a geographic area that spans from British Columbia to the north as well as the U.S. states of Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Northern California to the south, this all-season destination is bordered by the vast Pacific Ocean as well as several mountain ranges including the Coast Mountains, Cascade Range, Rocky Mountains, and Olympic Mountains.

Because of the unique location, groups that meet in the Pacific Northwest can be treated to a variety of resort-like experiences from picturesque hiking trails in several major national forests to seaport adventures and some of the best seafood cuisine in the country in coastal towns like Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver.

While artistic fields are booming in this part of the country, some of the best American brands (Boeing Commercial, Microsoft, Nike) have headquarters in this area too, providing for a unique combination of commerce and creativity. These are just some of the industries that are looking for well-equipped meeting and event space, often turning to the comprehensive non-traditional venues in the market.

The Portland Art Museum, for example, is in the heart of the city’s cultural district and is the go-to for prestigious social gatherings and galas. Its awe-inspiring sculpture mall and nonprofit status (which gives back to artisans in the community) are key selling points. Another option, Seattle University, has the distinguished title of being a “Washington State Backyard Sanctuary,” set on 48 lush acres right near the popular downtown district. Its features include state-of-the-art equipment and an innovative food court with vegan, gluten-free, and organic options as well as the ability to bring spirits on campus.
