Are you looking for the perfect location in Maryland to hold your wedding or wedding reception? Consider the Glenview Mansion in Rockville!
In 1836, Judge Richard Johns Bowie amassed land parcels to create a 337-acre working farm and built the first house on the property “Glen View”. In 1926, owners Dr. and Mrs. Lyon expanded the home to create the grand Glenview Mansion and formal gardens still experienced today. In 1957, the City of Rockville purchased Glenview Mansion to create a civic destination. From farm, to estate, to the National Register of Historic Places, Glenview Mansion continues to be a very special venue for all events. The tranquil park setting and inviting elegance of Glenview Mansion’s beautiful architecture creates memories for all who visit. The Glenview Mansion and grounds are a favorite location for weddings, receptions, and other special events, civic and private functions whether it is a meeting for 10 or a social for 200.
