Testimonals

I am writing to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for all your effort and support this past summer. Endless hours of preparation and planning go into launching a new campus location, and your team’s flexibility, understanding, and outstanding customer service made my job a lot easier. The Conferences & Events staff was especially helpful our first few days on campus when we needed the in-person support the most. I’m looking forward to another successful summer on the Yale University campus!
-Amy Blake, AVP Staffing & Compliance, Summer Institute for the Gifted
The staff at Conferences & Events was most professional throughout the planning phases of our event as well as during the program. They brought the many resources of their department to the program, with offers to assume responsibility for tasks that otherwise would have over-burdened other team members. And the logistics management YC&E provided was top-drawer, making for a GHLI healthcare leadership education program that properly showcased the Yale imprimatur. Many thanks for looking after our program, its participants and the faculty and staff who worked on it.
- Martha Dale, Director for China Programs, Global Health Leadership Institute
I must acknowledge the absolutely fantastic Megan Palluzzi. She is hands-down one of the best Program Managers I've ever worked with, at Yale and beyond. Detail-oriented, organized, efficient, and friendly. She thinks of everything before I do, and always keeps us on track in our planning efforts. I cannot emphasize how fantastic Megan is, and how invaluable she is to the success of our conferences.

Additionally, our invited guests from other universities as well as our YCRI team at Yale recognizes her hard work and impeccable coordination.

Two participants from the Berlin conference wrote the following reviews of Megan's efforts to me:

"Megan went above and beyond to make my trip and conference experience as hassle free as can be. Her communications were clear, and reminders about all itinerary and reimbursement matters extremely useful. She was a pleasure to work with."

"Megan has been a dream coordinator from start to finish. Patient in the face of the most pedantic and fussy enquiries, she has remained indefatigably efficient, upbeat and reassuring throughout."

Other YC&E staff stepped in seamlessly to take care of things on-site. Kelly Vailette and Colleen Murphy were fantastic on-site coordinators. Kelly went above and beyond, whenever anything came up (a change in schedule; an edit for the catering order) Kelly immediately took care of everything.

I cannot emphasize enough how fantastic the staff are (so great at their jobs!) and how easy they are to work with, making our experience at the conference much easier. Thank you again for your fantastic team!
-Amy Gais, Ph. D. Candidate Yale University – Center for the Study of Representative Institutions
Each year, we bring 1,100 prospective students and 700 parents to campus for packed days in April. None of this would be possible without Yale Conferences & Events. They do a tremendous job taking the load off, so that we can focus on what is most important: talking to students and parents about their future at Yale. Meals, rooms, buses, staffing you can count on Conferences & Events for almost anything. What a tremendous partner!
- Jeremiah Quinlan, Deputy Dean, Undergraduate Admissions
I had much trepidation taking on the task of chairing the logistics committee for an upcoming conference to be held at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. After my first meeting with Conferences & Events, I knew that F&ES would hold a successful and professional conference with their help. We could not have been more pleased with the level of service and professional attitude they provided while managing our event. A deluge of rain on the outdoor conference still did not dampen their demeanor and they were quick to handle any hiccups along the way. I would be happy to work with them again and plan on utilizing their services for any major event I manage in the future.
- Melanie Quigley, Program Coordinator, School of Forestry & Environmental Studies
