The University of Tennessee is able to host virtual conferences and events, hybrid events and on site events. Virtual conferences include registration, planning, session management, exhibitor areas, live and pre-taped speakers and more.

In addition to our campus facilities, UT’s Conference Center has 15,000 square feet of meeting space with over 13 rooms that can be configured to meet your needs. Located adjacent to campus, the center is amid bustling downtown Knoxville and within walking distance of 12 hotels .

Meeting & Event Spaces
Atrium
The Atrium is the main gathering location for groups using the Conference Center and is an ideal place for breaks or networking receptions. The opportunity to network with social distancing is available.
Auditorium
Our 150-seat auditorium is an outstanding room for a picture-perfect opening session or a professional presentation.
Ballroom
From a classroom setting for 156, to a theater setting for more that 350 or a tasteful banquet for 300, this room gives you the most options for choosing the most suitable seating arrangements for your event.
Executive Conference Room
Our elegantly appointed Executive Conference Rooms provides a formal but comfortable atmosphere for those high-profile meetings and power lunches. High-backed leather chairs and hardwood sideboards evoke a feeling of industry, competence and productivity.
Small Meeting Rooms
With a myriad of small to medium sized meeting rooms to accommodate portions of your function or conference, you have many options available for creative scheduling, multiplying session offerings, and increasing personal interaction.
Computer Training Labs
Two computer labs equipped with state of the art Dell brand computers. Both labs run the latest XP operating systems software. Custom client software can easily be installed on each work station for employee or customer training programs.
Thompson Boling Arena
Thompson Boling Arena can seat up to 21,000. One of the five largest arena on campus in the country, the building comes equipped with a series of large drapery curtains that can be used to make sure the fauclity has a more intimate atmosphere for smaller groups. Private viewing boxes can be made available for special guests.
UT Student Union
The newly opened Student Union is a 385,000 square foot full service facility. The building includes a 12,000 square foot ballroom and two 4,500 square foot mini ballrooms. The building also includes are 997 seat auditorium with mulitple smaller breakout rooms. A food court with several national brand vendors, a game room with lounge for students and retial spaces are also located in the building.
