Unique Venue Feature

Located in the central United states, UCO is a historical campus which was the first institution of higher learning to offer classes on the Oklahoma Territory in 1890.  Home to the historic classroom building Old North which is on the Register of National Historical Places which now houses the President's Office and has calssroom and faculty office space. UCO is also home to one of the states oldest operating residenace halls which opened in 1937 and still in operation today.

The University of Central Oklahoma, located just outside of Oklahoma City in Edmond, OK, offers an affordable world-class conference center, as well as great coordination services with first-rate summer lodging, meeting, event, wedding, holiday parties and dining space available throughout the year. All of this is situated in a comfortable, convenient, and diverse community, while also being centrally located to Oklahoma’s popular attractions!

Our experienced Events Management team has more than 25 years of experience coordinating conferences and special events and will assist you in developing a great experience for you and your guests. We will find the most suitable venue on campus for your event and arrange the components necessary for a successful program including catering for your function, audio/visual support, housing and parking. The University of Central Oklahoma’s partnership with UCO Campus Dining Services allows for a wide range of catering services that include everything from boxed lunches to sit-down meal service and a full-service bar for up to 500 attendees.

Nigh University Center

Centrally located in the heart of Edmond, the Nigh University Center features over 37,000 square feet of available space to suit any of your conference, wedding or event needs. Our Grand Ballroom features tall ceilings, exquisite chandeliers and elaborate window treatments while our auditorium, Constitution Hall, features stadium seating and state of the art audio and visual equipment. With more than 25 meeting rooms, the NUC has the right room to fit your budget and event needs.

Grand Ballroom

UCO's Grand Ballroom inside of the Nigh University Center features 9000 square feet of elegance. The Grand Ballroom features tall ceilings, exquisite chandeliers and elaborate window treatments along with new wood flooring. The Ballroom can be sectioned off into three rooms and comes with free setup and breakdown.

Heritage Room

The Heritage Room offers elegance and warmth. Guests can get comfortable next to the fireplace while looking out the windows to view the town of Edmond, Oklahoma. Several events take place in the Heritage room such as weddings, conferences, receptions, social sorority tea's and more.

Constitution Hall

State-of-the-Art technology paired with convenience and comfort is what you will find in Constitution Hall. The Auditorium features stadium seating with fold-out desks, full service audio-visual booth, and a giant overhead projection screen. Lecture & Classrooms

When it comes to lecture or classroom space, no one does it better than a leading university. The campus offers rooms ranging in capacity from 20 to more than 150. Sophisticated audio/visual equipment is available as well as free setup and breakdown.

Athletic fields & Fieldhouse

Create a memorable event in UCO's premier athletic facilities, including the Hamilton Fieldhouse which holds concerts, worship center's for church groups, sport camps and much more! Opened in 1965, Hamilton Fieldhouse serves as the home facility for Broncho Basketball, Volleyball and Wrestling including multiple NCAA Championship events. Hamilton Fieldhouse also serves as the host facility for UCO Commencement ceremonies hosting more than 20,000 visitors to campus for the campus’ premier academic event each fall and spring. Hamilton Fieldhouse hosting premier events since 1965, make yours’ the next big event in this building’s storied history.

The Robert S Kerr room is decorated with his historic memorabilia and is one of our more popular spaces. This size of the room is ideal for groups up to 60 people.

Carl Albert Room

Both the Carl Albert and Robert S Kerr Rooms are located in close proximity to each other, making them ideal choices for breakout rooms with larger conferences. They are also close to our other breakout rooms and located just a short distance from our ballrooms and Constitution Hall.

Conveniently located in the Nigh University Center, the Food Court offers Chick-Fil-A Express, Flat Tire Burger, Sushi with Gusto, Second Street Subs & Tu Taco .

Starbucks

Starbucks provides customers with a personalized coffee experience. Much like the popular stand-alone locations, the UCO Starbucks offers hot and iced espresso beverages, teas, and non-caffeinated beverages like Refreshers customized to order. An assortment of hand-selected food items, coffee bean varieties, reusable eco-friendly cups, and decorative mugs and are available for purchase at the register.  Located on the second floor of the Nigh University Center.

Market in the Library

Market in the Library offers a variety of food and beverage options to fit any schedule. With a plethora of snacks that range from fresh fruit to beef jerky to candy, there is something for every customer. These locations feature meal options like freshly rolled sushi and salads and sandwiches that are ready-made with fresh ingredients to provide optimal lunching in a hurry, or make your own coffee or tea on the go. Located on the ground floor of the Max Chambers Library.

Our suite-style residence halls offer guests upscale sleeping accommodations. Pick your furnished floor plan from either a double-occupancy room with a private bath, quad-occupancy unit (two rooms with a connecting bath), or four-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette and two bathrooms. We offer single and double rooms and can accommodate up to 300 guests. There is a free on-site laundry facilities as well as a fully lit outdoor courtyard equipped with volleyball court, basketball court, a grill and picnic tables.

Banking Services

Located on the 2nd floor in the Nigh University Center, Midfirst Bank offers full-service banking on campus to meet the needs of UCO students, faculty, staff and the community. ATM Machines Needing Cash? There are two ATM's located on the 2nd floor in the Nigh University Center Food Court, another located on the 1st floor in the Nigh University Center and one located at the south entrance of the Max Chambers Library.

Dining Services

Through a partnership with Chartwell's, UCO provides a full-service dining operation to the UCO campus. UCO is able to provide dining locations for on-campus residents, retail operations and catering services to serve our campus and community. The following dining options are available through Chartwell's on the UCO campus: Ayer's Kitchen, Library Market, Sidelines Sports Grill, 1890 Metropolitan Cafe, University Center Market, Starbucks, and the Food Court at the Nigh University Center featuring Chick-fil-a Express, Flattire Burgers, Sushi with Gusto, Tu Taco, and Second Street Subs. 

Health Care

Partnering with Ou Physicians, UCO provides the Ou Physicians Clinic to students, faculty, staff and guests. Located in the northwest corner of the Wellness center, the clinic is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Printing Services

UCO partners with RK Black, a full-service printer and copy company referred as Print Central on the UCO campus. Located on the 1st floor of the Nigh University Center, Print Central provides copying, binding, printing and much more.

Housing Services

UCO's Housing and Dining provides on-campus housing to more than 1,700 students each year. Students who live on campus tend to be more involved, get better grades and are more likely to graduate than those who live off campus. UCO's Housing office is located in the center of campus close to the volleyball and basketball courts. UCO also serves groups during summer months for conferences and camps and can provide a one-stop-shop for all of your conference needs.

Events Management

The UCO Events Managememt office provides meeting planning to internal and external groups in the Nigh University Center. With 25 meeting locations, UCO Events Management office can meet your needs when planning your next event.

Mail Services

From delivery to on-campus offices to mailing a package, on-campus mail services and R.K. Black meet all your needs for mail on the UCO campus. Mail Services is located on the 1st floor of the Nigh University Center.

Bookstore

The UCO Bookstore provides easy access to all of the textbooks students need for class and keeps campus full of Broncho Spirit. From the spirit shop at the football stadium to the latest UCO gear, you can get it all through the UCO Bookstore. The UCO Bookstore is located on the 2nd floor in the Nigh University Center.
