Scotiabank Dance Centre opened in the heart of downtown Vancouver in 2001 and is regarded as one of Canada’s flagship dance facilities. Designed by the eminent architect Arthur Erickson, the stunning glass-enclosed facility is one of Vancouver’s most distinctive cultural buildings. Scotiabank Dance Centre provides a unique and inspiring environment for meetings, conferences, weddings, receptions, focus groups, strategic planning and team building sessions, and special events of all kinds.
Facilities include:
- A versatile, fully-equipped black box production/presentation space with retractable raked seating for 154, lobby with bar area and washrooms, backstage Green Room. Maximum capacity 200 including all staff, entertainers etc.
- Two bright multipurpose studios with superb natural light and adjacent kitchenette; one studio opens out onto a canopied rooftop patio
- Board room with projection screen, dry-erase board, telephone, adjacent kitchen area
- Air conditioning and free public wi-fi throughout
- Wheelchair accessible
