Phantom Ranch is beside Bright Angel Creek on the north side of the Colorado River and is the only lodging facility
below the canyon rim. Open year-round, it is only accessible by mule, by foot, or by rafting
the Colorado River. The accommodations at Phantom Ranch consist of dormitory spaces and cabins. The Phantom Ranch
Canteen provides hearty breakfasts, sack lunches, and dinners. Advance reservations are required.
