About
The Open Gov Hub is a co-working community in Washington, D.C., and a network of organizations promoting transparency, accountability, and civic engagement around the world.
The 20,000-square-foot “Hub” is the physical home of close to 80 organizations promoting these open government (“Open Gov”) reforms through technology, research, media, and advocacy.
We rent out our event space, as well as large conference rooms at very competitive rates to help similar difference-makers host excellent and exciting events. Our goal is to take the stress out of the logistics so that you can focus on the content of your event and make it as successful as possible!
Here’s some basic information about our space:
All rooms are entirely all-inclusive. High-speed wifi, full A/V with large flat screens for presentations, wireless mics with in-ceiling speakers, whiteboards, markers, and mounted cameras for videoconferencing are all included. The event space catering kitchen includes an icemaker, filtered hot/cold water, and, unlike many places, there are no restrictions on alcoholic beverages, meaning a server is not required.
