About

Namaste Esperanza Retreat is located in beautiful Woodville, Hants County, Nova Scotia. The farm is 45 minutes from downtown Halifax, 40 minutes from Halifax International Airport, and in the heart of Nova Scotia’s horse country. This peaceful rural property consists of approximately 135 acres, including 35 acres of cleared land, 100 acres of mixed forest, and a 10-acre lake.

This non-traditional venue in Woodville, Nova Scotia is in the “cradle of nature” in a stunning, secluded setting. Visitors have the unique privilege of being surrounded by a vast array of wildlife in this area. Daily, we see hawks, eagles, pheasants, coyotes, beavers, blue herons, owls and many other indigenous species. We also have horses, cats and a dog on the property, with whom we are deeply connected and supported by.

    Our Facilities:

  • Main chateau building with full commercial kitchen (local catering available for extra charge)
  • Great room with fireplace, dining room seats 20
  • Four beautiful dorm-style bedrooms with ensuites that sleep six people total (or two twin beds can be converted to king-size bed for a family setting)
  • Private upstairs self-contained apartment has master bedroom with ensuite, private living room and galley kitchen, and second bedroom with double bed, single bunk and private bathroom (Apartment can sleep a total of 7 people)
  • Basement level has a 33’x20′ rec room with large screen television, and fold-out couches that can sleep 7 people
  • Chateau has huge wraparound porch with plenty of seating, a large uncovered patio with seating for 35, barbecue, and outdoor firepit
  • Pool area has hot tub and 18’x33′ pool (with slide), and a large deck with seating
  • Barn has a 1000 sq. ft. rustic conference room, and small guest room with bathroom
  • By the lake there is a large 700 sq. ft. yurt that can be used for sleeping or meetings, and outdoor fire pit
  • Beautiful lawns and gardens
  • Miles of hiking and riding trails on 135 wooded acres
  • Peaceful, natural atmosphere

    Please note: We have cats and a dog that go inside the house and horses that do not. 🙂
