About

Montclair State University’s beautiful, suburban campus is located in Montclair, NJ. The Conference Center is only 15 miles from the vibrancy of New York City, making it an ideal location for your next meeting, seminar or special event in the area.

Set on the seventh floor of University Hall, The Conference Center offers up to 6300 square feet of event space and boasts a panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline. The center’s flexible meeting and event spaces can accommodate up to 500 guests or can be arranged for smaller, more intimate gatherings. Flexibility is one of the Conference Center’s specialties, and the ballroom within the center comes complete with movable walls that can create up to 6 separate rooms.

The Conference Center’s Catering Department provides a meeting and dining environment that is specialized to exceed you and your guests’ expectations and is committed to providing service and menu flexibility for your personalized event on campus. During summer months, guests have the option to lodge on campus in suite-style residence halls with access to a service desk and staff that can assist with check ins and check outs, general information, and other services. Please contact the Conference Center staff directly at 973-834-6636 to book your next meeting, conference, or social event at Montclair State University.
