Mizpah Hotel

About

The Mizpah Hotel was hailed by neighborhood newspapers as “the best stone hotel on the desert” when it opened in 1907 at a pricey cost of more than $200,000 at the time. This hotel is situated in the historic mining town of Tonopah, about midway between Las Vegas and Reno. In the early 1900s, the area witnessed a silver and gold boom, which increased the demand for a place where intrepid miners could relax.  Current owners Fred and Nancy Cline updated the home in 2011 to provide contemporary comforts and conveniences while meticulously preserving and restoring its 1907 Victorian design and heritage. The Mizpah Hotel is undoubtedly a hidden gem in Nevada.
