About

Boston summer housing is available at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in two of the campus residence halls – the Artists’ Residence and the Tree House. Both offer comfortable, convenient, and affordable summer housing options for you or your group. Our residence halls are minutes from downtown shopping, restaurants, historical locations and entertainment an ideal place to enjoy Boston.

Provided amenities in both buildings include: full air conditioning, 24-hour courtesy desk and secured access, high-speed internet service (wireless as well as Ethernet ports in the rooms), and cable television access. Telephones and televisions are not provided, however guests are welcome to bring their own. Additionally, we are able to offer linen rental (bedding and towels) for an additional fee.

Summer housing is operational from June 1-August 15th (housing agreement start and end dates are flexible within this time period). Rates are available for single and double occupancy (we do not roommate match for summer housing) and for daily, weekly or monthly stays. Please provide detailed information regarding dates of stay, number of occupants and accommodation type requested when contacting us for a quote.

Artists' Residence
The Artists' Residence is a 9-story residence hall with apartment style units located a short walking distance to both the Longwood Medical Center and Museum of Fine Arts T stops. Our apartments house between 2 to 5 people, with a limited number of single occupancy studio apartments available, in a variety of floor plans from studios to 4 bedrooms. Each of the fully furnished apartments has full appliance kitchens (no microwaves or cooking items provided), bathroom and living room.

Tree House
The Tree House is a 20-story residence hall with suite style units located a short walking distance to both the Longwood Medical Center and Museum of Fine Arts T stops and just steps from the Artists' Residence. Our suites house between 2 to 5 people, with a limited number of single occupancy bedrooms within a shared suite. Each suite is fully furnished and contains a bathroom for the residents. A community kitchen and game room is located on the 3rd floor for all building residents to use.
