Event Types Welcomed
We are now offering the rental of meeting and event venues during the academic year, in addition to the summer months!
Manhattan College is located in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, just steps from the New York City MTA #1 subway and with direct access to midtown Manhattan. Our campus offers state-of-the-art meeting, banquet and classroom facilities, residential meal plans, private catering and options for overnight accommodations. With nearly 1,500 beds available each summer from mid-June through mid-August, our clients and guests have the opportunity to stay and play near the Big Apple comfortably and conveniently. All of our event facilities are air-conditioned and offer complimentary WiFi throughout the campus. The largest event facilities on campus, The Great Room and Smith Auditorium also contain a projector screen, microphone access, speakers as well as ample space for lectures or banquets. We offer onsite parking within our five-story parking garage and our campus is conveniently located near major highways and the NYC area airports, making commuting to and from campus largely stress-free for visitors. Accommodations are available for groups ranging in size and duration of nights.
Manhattan College is conveniently located across the street from Van Cortland Park with additional local attractions including the Bronx Zoo, New York Botanical Gardens (NYBG), Wave Hill and Yankee Stadium. Local shops and restaurants are also within a safe walking distance to campus. Our campus offers 24/7 Public Safety presence by car and foot patrol to ensure a safe environment for guests. Meeting & Event Spaces
Large multi-purpose venue featuring a stage and full A/V capabilities. Available for banquets, lectures, graduations, etc.
The Great Room
A large ballroom divisible into three individual rooms or one large room. On the top floor of Kelly Commons with lovely views of greenery from Van Cortlandt Park. Fully equipped with AV technology and Wi-Fi.
O'Malley Library - Alumni Room
Traditional wood trim medium sized multi-purpose venue. Available for meetings in a lecture or boardroom set up and receptions in banquet rounds.
Smith Hall - Chapel of De La Salle and His Brothers
Beautiful traditional Chapel with stained glass windows. Available for religious events, opening/closing remarks, ceremonies, etc.
Hayden Hall - 100
Contemporary tiered seating lecture hall with a stage and standard A/V. Available for presentations, film viewings, etc.
De La Salle Hall - Capalbo Room
A lecture style, tiered venue with standard A/V. Available for lectures and presentations.
Miguel Hall - Rodriguez Room
Contemporary classroom in a theater style layout with standard A/V. Available for presentations, film viewings, etc.
Hayden Hall - 409
Stadium seating venue with standard A/V. Available for lectures and presentations.
Thomas Hall - Cafe 1853
Quaint and stylish café space that can accommodate private dinners, receptions and social events.
Jasper 1st Floor Lounge
Recently renovated furnished lounge space within Jasper Residence Hall. Available for film viewings, social gatherings, etc.
Thomas Hall - Murray Room
Private dining room adjacent to main dining area in Locke's Dining Hall.
Jasper Hall - 2nd Floor Game Room
Recreation and game room located in Jasper Residence Hall featuring pool tables, ping-pong tables, foosball table, vending machines, TV, couches and dining tables.
O'Malley Library - Computer Lab
Traditional computer lab equipped with 30 desktop computers and standard A/V for presenters.
Classroom sizes vary on campus from 20 - 45 in guest count. Classrooms are available in De La Salle Hall, Miguel Hall, Hayden Hall and Leo Hall with standard A/V.
Kelly Student Commons
Building spans five floors of meeting, office, dining and campus bookstore spaces throughout. Small to large meeting and conference rooms all fully equipped with Wi-Fi, projectors and viewing screens and conference call technologies and equipment. Spaces accommodate from 20 to 670 in a variety of configurations.

Locke's Dining Hall
Located in Thomas Hall, Locke's offers an all-you-care-to-eat dining hall accommodating most dietary restrictions.
Kelly Commons Starbucks Cafe
A full service Starbucks is located in the Raymond W. Kelly Student Commons.
Aramark Dining at Manhattan College offers full-service planning for private and corporate functions. From small breakfast or lunch meetings to lavish evening affairs, we provide an exemplary and unique dining experience for each client.
Overnight Room Attributes
Horan Hall, our largest residence hall, offers spacious, suite-style accommodations, each with their own private bathroom. Most suites consist of two double-occupancy rooms, but there are a few three-person rooms and five-person suites. Horan Hall has individually controlled AC units in each room. Gender-specific suites are mixed on all floors. Horan can accommodate 700 people on 11 floors.
Lee Hall, our newest residence hall, offers spacious, suite-style accommodations, each with their own private bathroom. Most suites consist of two double-occupancy rooms, but there are a few three-person rooms and five-person suites. Lee Hall has individually controlled AC units in each room. Gender-specific suites are mixed on all floors. Lee Hall accommodates 550 people on 10 floors.
Jasper Hall is coed by floor, with same-sex, double occupancy rooms sharing communal bathrooms. Each room has individually controlled AC units. Jasper Hall can accommodate 250 people on five floors.

7-day unlimited MetroCards can be ordered in advance through the Office of Conference Services for a request of 50 cards or more.
Short-term or long-term complementary parking is available for event and conference guests and will require a parking pass provided by the Office of Conference Services.
In-Room Housekeeping Service
Additional cleaning service can be provided during a summer guest's mid-week stay for an additional fee. This service includes the removal of soiled linens for new, clean linens, floor mopping, surface cleaning, removal of trash, and bathroom cleaning.
Small refrigerator, office copy machine, watercoolers and coffee machines are available to rent during the summer conference season for extended stays.
Standard A/V is equipped in all classrooms inclusive of VGA cable, projector, screen, speakers and airplay.
Complementary internet access available across campus, including classrooms, event venues and residence halls.
The cards advanced technology provides access to assigned residence hall and entry into the dining hall for all overnight guests.
Standard A/V is equipped in all large meeting venues inclusive of VGA/HDMI/USB-C cable, projector, screen, speakers and airplay. In addition, gooseneck, wireless and lapel microphones can be accommodated upon request.
