Testimonials

In the wake of a tremendously successful KCACTF Festival, I wanted to send you high praise for Kathy Evanko’s help. At the Regional Leadership Team debriefing on Sunday, it was roundly mentioned that this was the smoothest running, and generally best festival in years! Kathy was part of making that happen.
“The KCACTF Festival is a complicated affair, and Kathy had to deal with MANY late-breaking changes and new needs, without foreknowledge of just how this festival runs. Her devoted support, good cheer, and efficiency helped me get my own efforts located properly--I could dedicate myself to the mission of the festival, because I knew that Kathy was handling the oh so important functional details.”
—Brian Jones, Professor, Department Chair, IUP Theater and Dance Department

“...my compliments to the IUP conference center on a very efficiently run and smoothly executed festival! I was really impressed as were my students (several asked “can we go to the whole week next year”)! Thanks for everything and we’ll see you next year.”
—Dr. Ben Fisher, Faculty, Hartford Community College Theatre

“The IUP Hispanic Heritage Council sponsored a fundraiser in the Crimson Event Center on Saturday evening, April 10. The event was a huge success, and we actually raised substantially more money than we had hoped.
“Many people contributed to our success, and that’s the reason I am sending this email. I wanted to tell you what a pleasure it was to work with Conference Services in planning for this evening. From reserving the Crimson Event Center, to the wonderful assistance of your student worker, Clayton, in getting the microphones operational, all of our needs were met and surpassed. However, I am most grateful for Kathy Evanko’s gracious personality, and her willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed every step of the way. Kathy was always available to answer any questions and to solve any issues which arose, and she did it with a smile!
“I look forward to working with you and your staff again in the future.”

“Hi Ms. Evanko,.... I just wanted to thank you for all your help in reserving the Crimson Event Center for our event on April 23. Chi Sigma Iota (from the Department of Counseling) had a great banquet and all the new inductees had a great time. I appreciate you allowing me to call you several times just to make sure. Please pass along our thanks to all that helped.”
