HQO sits at the edge of the Anacostia River in Navy Yard in walking distance to D.C.’s premier sporting & events stadiums – Nat’s Park & Audi Field. This unique venue features a sleek, modern façade of undulating glass and three stories of innovative, and contemporary indoor/outdoor space. The venue is LEED Platinum+ certified, so you can feel great about hosting an event with minimal environmental impact.

HQO has nearly 40,000 square feet of diverse event space and is one of the newest largest D.C. Waterfront, rooftop, and indoor venues. This versatile building is idea for large Association events, weddings, corporate receptions, or convention sponsor off-site parties. The first floor can host 100-300 size receptions and the second floor is ideal for off-site meetings or Board Dinners overlooking D.C.’s waterfront.

The second floor features a boardroom over looking D.C.’s waterfront. The boardroom is great for formal dining and conferences or meetings. It can seat 160 guests and has an A/V system with a stand-alone projector, 6 simultaneous displays that require a computer with an HDMI connection, free high-speed internet, and WiFi accessibility. The atrium is great for receptions, buffets, and conferences and features six break-out rooms. This space accommodates up to 300 standing guests.

HQO’s mission is to provide a stunning and sustainable event space that provides memorable experiences to clients while promoting the mission of DC Water. We provide a wide range of services, including an amazing view, exclusive local & diverse vendors, and on-site management.

Rental fees help support Blue Drop, a nonprofit with a mission to relieve economic strain on DC-area ratepayers.
