Year-round, Georgian College in Barrie, Ont., has large and small venues available for your next meeting or event. Choose from a variety of spaces, including boardrooms, AV-equipped classrooms, lecture halls that seat up to 700 people, and a 20,000 sq.-ft. pillar-less event space, ideal for gala dinners and trade shows.

The addition of the Sadlon Centre for Health and Wellness includes six health clinics, a massage and spa and technologically-enhanced classrooms with ergonomically designed tables and chairs, clean lines and an abundance of natural light.

Georgian’s Athletic Centre has been host to national and provincial sports associations and is equipped with has 20,000 square feet of gym space, indoor running track and 10,000 square foot fitness centre.

Summer accommodation, full service catering facilities, dedicated training classrooms and lecture halls, will provide all your requirements for a successful training camp, or conference.

    Chartwells Cafeteria

    Chartwells Cafeteria provides students, faculty and staff with fresh and healthy-living menu choices, nutritional information and other helpful lifestyle information.  Catering is available for groups meeting on Campus through the Chartwells Great Impressions Catering Menu.

    The Last Class

    Catering at The Last Class
    The Last Class is dedicated to providing the most enjoyable experience possible for all your catering needs. From our licensed bar and dining room to our friendly and professional staff, we pride ourselves in delivering quality food and service. The Last Class can host up to 500 people in a seated environment or up to 700 people cocktail reception style. We have many other venues at the campus where we can cater from 5 to 1500 guests.
    The most unique thing about The Last Class is that the revenue generated goes directly back to the Student Life Centre which helps to provide students with events and functions for the ultimate college experience.

    The Georgian Dining Room

    Whether you are looking for an intimate gathering, a formal sit-down dinner, an outdoor barbeque or something truly unique you will find it at the Georgian Dining Room. The Georgian Dining Room is open to the public serving lunch several days a week in the 150-seat licensed dining room which doubles as a fine-dining restaurant offering delectable menus in elegant surroundings on selected evenings. The Georgian Dining Room provides catering services on and offsite Campus.

    Residence & Conference Centre – Barrie

    Residence & Conference Centre - Barrie is open annually from early May to late August on the Georgian College, Barrie Campus. We can comfortably and affordably accommodate groups of 5 to 450 guests in our hotel-style 2 bedroom non-smoking suites. These suites include two bedrooms with a three-piece bath, and a kitchenette with full-sized fridge & microwave/convection oven. Each bedroom has a double extra-long bed, telephone with free local service, television with satellite service, and network connection with access to the free Internet service.

    Thanks to the facilities at Georgian College, the Ontario Horticultural Association had a wonderful convention at the College. I really can’t say enough about the staff connected to our convention. Conference & Event Services helped me pick the venue and guided me through all the trials and tribulations of planning and organizing a 2-day convention for 400 delegates from across Ontario. They arranged our accommodations with Georgian Summer Suites and coordinated our activities with the Student Life Centre for meeting space and the Last Class for food service. I was really very proud of Georgian College and was happy to show my college off to the delegates of the convention. The work ethic and the downright niceness of the personnel was matchless. I was happy to say that I had once been associated with an organization that included so many caring and personable people. If ever I do a large event again, Georgian will be my place of choice.
