About

Eastern University in St. Davids, PA is home to a historical mansion with a scenic suburban campus that expands over 92 acres. The setting includes gorgeous walking trails, protected wetlands, and 2 new artificial turf fields. The venue is located only 17 miles from downtown Philadelphia’s historical sites, and just minutes away from attractions such as Valley Forge National Park and the King of Prussia Mall. Eastern University also provides all the amenities one would expect from a well-equipped university such as full-service catering, accessible public transportation, on-site AV support, and more.

At Eastern University, hospitality is our ministry. We would love the opportunity to host your event on our beautiful St, Davids campus. The venue has multiple facilities that are suitable for a range of events including meeting rooms, a 280- seat theater, a gymnasium with a 400-800-person capacity, and elegant dining rooms suitable for dinners or VIP luncheons.

Meeting Rooms
There are many different types of meeting rooms on campus. Some can also serve as classrooms with built-in technology and chalk/whiteboards. Our meeting rooms can seat anywhere from 8-75 people.
Gymnasium
Our Gymnasium can hold upwards of 900 people. There are built-in bleachers. Chair rentals may be an additional cost.
The Gymnasium can also serve as a banquet hall that can hold 325 for a sit down meal.
  • 900 Theatre Style
Theater
Our Auditorium Theater has 280 seats, staging, screen, and built-in AV. AV usage is an additional cost.

Food & Beverage Options

The Eagle's Nest Cafe
This is a popular choice for relaxed, casual snacks and meals in a friendly setting.In the summer, it is open from 9am-1pm. This is a great place to stop by and get a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich!
Dining Commons
The Dining Commons, located in the beautiful and historical Walton Hall, is open for three meals daily. There are plenty of options, including healthy and gluten-free options. Please contact us with any food alergies.

Sodexo Catering
Sodexo offers catering services on-campus as well. If you are looking to have a special meal or snack while on campus, we would be happy to arrange that. Please contact us for further information.

Suite-Style
Two bedrooms with 2 beds each and a shared bathroom.
Dormitory-Style
All rooms (8 -12 beds) on the floor share one large bathroom containing several sinks, toilets, and showers.
Residence Halls
All of the rooms on Eastern's campus contain telephones, and air conditioned rooms are available. We offer double and single occupancy rooms, and laundry machines can be found in every residence hall. Linens, blankets and pillows are provided by the University. Each dormitory has its own distinct personality, but they all have lounges equipped with televisions. VCR's are available on request.
