Boar’s Head Resort

About

Boar’s Head Resort welcomes visitors to take part in a chapter of its colorful history. The resort is tucked away at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Visitors are well-positioned to have it all with a focus on wellness, sports, and outdoor activities—along with superb cuisine and drinks. The 600 undulating acres of the resort put visitors in close proximity to the natural world. The Inn, which was established by the late John B. Rogan and was officially opened in 1965 by Governor Albertis Harrison, Jr., features 168 guestrooms and suites, 22,000 square feet of meeting space, as well as a variety of sports and fitness amenities. Many accommodations and the AAA Four Diamond Mill Room restaurant feature warm touches like fireplaces and wooden beams from an old gristmill from the 1800s.
