Unique Venue Feature
Astronomical Observatory Located on the roof of the Nicolls building on the Bishop’s University campus, the observatory is an exciting addition to Bishop’s University. The new ASH Dome observatory houses a PlaneWave 17″ (f/6.8) Dall-Kirkham corrected optical design telescope which enriches the undergraduate students’ learning experience and gives the graduate students another tool with which to broaden their horizons. The new observatory is also open to the public for tours and stellar evenings. For group reservation only. St. Mark’s Chapel This carefully maintained and beautifully preserved chapel is located in the McGreer building. It was declared Cultural Property by the Quebec Ministère des affaires culturelles in 1989. Today, it remains as an important historical and artistic legacy of the long and significant role of Bishop’s University.

Our campus is designed as a micro-village surrounded by nature with a full restaurant and catering services, impressive sports facilities, observatory, a security service, and a variety of sporting and educational activities on site and nearby.

The residences Abbott, Kuehner and Munster are similair. These residences have been completely renovated into modern residence accommodation. They are equipped with air-exchanger, comfortable furnishings and modern touches. Offering single and double occupancy rooms with semi-private bathrooms. Each room features a double and a single bed (possibility of having one double bed only) a sink, a big closet, a desk and a chair. Guests share the bathroom (toilet and shower) situated between the two rooms. Your guests can extend the day’s discussion or simply relax in our common areas, including TV lounges, located on each floor of the residence.
In addition, a community kitchen, games room equipped with a pool table and/or ping-pong table, and a laundry facility are available in the basement.
Double occupancy rooms with private bathrooms, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments are also available.

Paterson is home to the offices of Accommodation and Event Services. It is a unique lodging space as
it offers apartment accommodations. All apartments have a living room, dining area, equipped kitchen and storage room large enough to store bicycles. Guests have the choice of four-bedroom or one-bedroom apartments. A four-bedroom apartment includes three single beds, one double bed, and two bathrooms. One-bedroom apartments include one double bed and one bathroom.
Common spaces with satellite TV are located on each floor and laundry facilities are available on the first floor. Paterson is equipped with an elevator, air-exchanger, and boasts sixteen apartments suitable for individuals with reduced mobility.

Mackinnon, Norton, and Pollack are traditional style residences with double and single occupancy rooms. There are shared common bathrooms on each floor as well as a common space with cable television and a games room with pool and ping- pong tables.
