UCLA’s event venues are modern, spacious, and equipped to handle today’s latest technological requirements. Carnesale Commons features UCLA Conferences & Catering’s largest event space, the Palace Room, that contains 6,7000 square feet for larger scale events. Carnesale Commons also has additional, Malibu, Venice and Hermosa that range from 700 to 1,200 square feet and are best suited for smaller meetings and social events. Covel Commons contains the venue’s Grand Horizon Room, with 6,000 square feet of event space perfect for large meetings and banquets. We also have unique outdoor spaces, such as a terrace, that are wonderful for outdoor receptions and banquets.

Meeting & Event Spaces
Grand Horizon Room, Covel Commons
Features high vaulted ceilings, 40-foot projection screen, and wall of windows framing a panoramic view of the campus from adjoining terrace. This space was designed for large theater-style presentations, banquets, and receptions. Floor-to-ceiling sliding partitions allow this space to be divided into seven smaller salons.
Grand Horizon Terrace, Covel Commons
A 3,700-square foot outdoor Terrace adjoining the Grand Horizon Room creates a stunning backdrop for any outdoor social event.
Northridge Room, Covel Commons

Palisades Room, Carnesale Commons
Our largest meeting space at 6,700-square feet — with a versatile, open-plan pre-function area — the Palisades Room can be used as a grand ballroom or divided into as many as five separate salons by sliding partitions.
Malibu Room, Carnesale Commons
At just over 700 square feet, Malibu is the smallest of three break-out rooms located conveniently one floor down from the Palisades Room.
Hermosa Room, Carnesale Commons
