San Diego State University boasts over 200 meeting rooms and several multi-purpose event spaces, with its largest group accommodation being 12,000 people. Aztec Student Union: Montezuma Hall

The largest event space at SDSU after Viejas Arena, Montezuma Hall opened in 2013 as the signature meeting venue of the LEED Platinum Aztec Student Union.

Don Powell Theatre

The theatre's comfortable seats arranged in a continental seating assure a truly intimate event experience. Don Powell's large stage affords every seat in the house a clear, unobstructed view.

Scripps Cottage Patio and Koi Pond

This quaint space sits below a grassy hillside and features an outdoor patio, picnic area, and calming koi fish and turtle pond.

The space permits integration of sound and video systems as well as general audio/visual needs.

Alumni Center: Allan Bailey Library

An elegant space well-suited for smaller functions with an intimate and personal appeal. This room contains many pieces of Aztec memorabilia, so that visitors and alumni can reminisce all of the great history of San Diego State University.

Hepner Hall Foyer

Hepner Hall, one of the original buildings on Montezuma Mesa, is named in honor of Walter R. Hepner, president of the college from 1935-1952. This building has become the symbol of the campus, with its open-faced mission style bell tower and archway, leading from the Campanile Walkway and Main Quad to the Hepner Hall Quad. This could be the iconic setting for your next ceremony.

Maya & Olmeca halls are on the east side of campus. Each three-story red brick building houses approximately 220 residents. Each hall includes a laundry room, study room and community kitchen. The east campus swimming pool for Maya, Olmeca and Tenochca guests is located adjacent to Maya hall.

Cuicacalli Suites has all-suite accommodations for approximately 740 guests, an in-house dining facility, Aztec Market convenience store, swimming pool and sand volleyball court.

Cuicacalli Suites consists of three buildings; Tacuba (east tower), Tepeyac (west tower) and the central building which houses the largest contiguous dining facility on campus, The Garden. 

There are two different layouts for the suites: each suite housing nine students depending on the suite configuration. One model consists of a triple room, a double room and four single rooms. The second model consists of one triple room and six single rooms. All suites include a shared living area and two bathrooms. Each suite is single-gender; floors are coed.

This 11-story high rise houses 830 guests in triple rooms and double rooms. The ground floor hosts a study lounge, recreation room, TV lounge, music room, community kitchen and laundry facility. Located on the west side of campus near University Towers, "Chappy" is near the athletic fields, Peterson Gym, Viejas Arena, the Aztec Recreation Center, Aztec Aquaplex, parking lots and a Red & Black Shuttle stop.
