Adelphi University is conveniently located in beautiful Garden City, New York. Adelphi University has recently completed a massive renovation of the main venue space, the Ruth S. Harley University Center. In this state of the art facility there is a full ballroom and meeting rooms able to accomodate up to 500 guests (depending upon room setup), a dining hall with 6 popular choices, unique stations, and a full service Starbucks! The space was designed to be modern, sustainable and eco friendly and has the latest technology.

Alumni House
The Adelphi University Alumni House offers the perfect setting for your next event. It is an exclusive facility that features an elegant dining room with a fireplace, an outdoor patio, and a private lounge. This location also has a duel projector system as well which ensures all guest are able to see presentations. Looking for a more private setting for your event seperated from the hussle and bussel of the campus, the Alumni House offers that solitude and comfortable setting.
Olmsted Theatre
The Olmsted Theatre is home to some of the most fantastic performance and dance recitals on Long Island. Emerse yourself in the arts and enjoy this comfortable theatre that's able to welcome over 300 guests.
Concert Hall
The stunning Concert Hall is specifically designed for chamber ensemble, orchestral, and vocal performances, but also has the flexibility to fully support lectures and other public events requiring a premiere level of support. This location has also held numberous dance recitals and small graduations.
Recital Hall
The Recital Hall is designed to showcase a variety of music performances from solo works to chamber ensembles in a truly intimate environment.
Black Box Theatre
Combined with the most current theatrical lighting, sound and video technologies, this performance space offers unlimited possibilities to students and professionals alike.
Dance Theatre
Through the use of a motorized divider and retractable seating, the cleverly designed Dance Theatre transforms two separate and large rehearsal studios into one modern performance space.
Thomas Dixon Lovely Ballroom
The Thomas Dixon Lovely Ballroom is a versatile conference facility. It can be sectioned off by wall units to create three separate rooms to compliment all of your conference needs. Each sectioned area has individual A/V capabilities and the space as a whole can accomodate up to 700 guests. Lighting can be customized and there are 16 array microphones throughout the space. Guests with hearing devices can switch in to hear exactly what is being said into microphones and all programs have the ability to be recorded. Materials used in this newly renovated space are from recycled materials and the accustics were specially designed for the room. The adjustable stage makes designing your program to your exact specifications a breeze. An attach tech control room allows our team to help run your event smoothly while being invisible. This ballroom also has roof access to guests and if there are more guests than can fit in the space, with the touch of a single button, your program can be shared to any other meeting space in the building.

The University Center Dining Hall
The brand new University Center Dining Hall is home to 6 different stations with food cooked and prepared right before your eyes to your exact specifications. The Market is a grab and go stations for prepackaged soups and sandwiches, baked pastas and in the morning an omlet station. The Back Bar Grill is home to grilled items, fresh meat and fish as well as rotisserie-cooked meats. Carved & Crafted prepares Boar's Head product sandwiches, wraps and paninis exactly how you want along with soups and chips. Our Innovation Kitchen is always changing! Every week the menue will change to offer different themed food making our options never ending! 500 Degrees makes pizza your way. Customize your individual pie or order calzones and rolls. Asian Fusion is a fresh sushi and hot buffet offering Asian inspired dishes.

Starbucks in the University Center
Adelphi's newly renovated University Center is now home to a full service Starbucks! Come inside to grab a latte before your meeting or a mocha to sit in read in our stunning new lounge areas. Our Starbucks offers all your favorite menu items as any other store but with the comforts and convience of being at Adelphi University!
The Eatery at Post Hall
This cafeteria style dining establishment offers express mobile ordering. With multiple food options and changing menu, this locations is a comfortable space for guests to grab food from the south side of campus.
Paws Cafe
Paws Cafe is located inside the Nexus building. Grab pastries, a cup of coffee or pre packaged sandwiches on the go!

Overnight Room Attributes
Residence Hall A
The newest of Adelphi's residence halls, Resident Hall A is located right between the baseball and softball fields. Each of the rooms in this 180 bed, 6,000 square foot residence hall features private bathrooms and individual climate control systems including air conditioning. Each floor also has it's own spacious lounge. This home away-from-home suite style resident hall takes on campus housing to a whole new level.
Resident Hall B
Like Resident Hall A, Res Hall B offers suite style accomodations each with their own bathrooms and climate control settings, including air conditioning! Right next to the baseball field, the perfect view to watch the Panthers hit some home runs is right inside your room, or maybe you're looking to watch with friends from one of the many lounges in the front of the building. Rooms can accomodate up to 3 guests or may offer the privacy you're looking for after a long day at the conference and be a single occupancy room. This new location offers the comforts of home with the added bonus of being right on campus for you to attend your program.
Earle Hall
Located right by the Performing Arts Center and field, Earle Hall has four floors, offering single and double occupancy accomodations with communal bathrooms. Earle is also home to the honors college suites. These rooms have a shared bathroom between two bedrooms and a common living area. Air conditioning is located on specific floors.
Eddy Hall
Eddy Hall is a residential hall located next to Resident Hall B and the baseball field. This communal hall is airconditioned and has lounges throughtout the building.
Waldo Hall
Waldo Hall faces the quad, a beautiful grass field perfect for relaxing and taking advantage of Adelphi's gorgeous green campus. The Hall has 4 floors, with air conditioning offered on the 4th floor. The bathrooms are communal in this residential hall.

Adelphi University's recreational facilities are available for rental as part of an outside conference during the summer months. Our spacious athletic fields, Olympic sized swimming pool, tournament tennis courts, and our high-tech theater complex all allow for a variety of activities and events to be held at our private campus.
