The past few days have brought about incredible change within our society. Our industry is facing one of its most difficult challenges ever.
In the midst of this crisis, it is important to remember that the hospitality industry has survived economic downturns many times before. In the past 20 years we have weathered the storm through 9/11, Gulf War 2, Swine and Bird Flu epidemics, the housing collapse, and the Great Recession. In each case, while the events where people gather to learn, network, and celebrate, were some of the hardest hit, our industry bounced back stronger than ever before.
I know that this is a difficult time, and I hold onto the hope each day that there will be a fast and positive turnaround and that things will soon return to normal. I believe that when we get through this, we will collectively be rewarded for our perseverance as events resume and are rescheduled.
Unique Venues is fully operational and ready to help you find the perfect venue. As always, we will assist you without fees, commissions or barriers. And, while there is uncertainty as to when we will all get back to gathering in person, one thing is for sure – our incredible collection of over 1,000 unique meeting and event venues will be ready to welcome you with enthusiasm and passion.
Unique Venues is thankful to be your indispensable venue-finding resource. Know that we are cautious but not afraid. We will not hide under a rock and allow our industry to suffer. Instead, we are going to be bolder and more determined than ever before. We invite you to rebuild the industry with us for there is no doubt that together we are stronger.
