iPlay America Teams with Law Enforcement to Support Bicycle Safety

Freehold, NJ — iPlay America has teamed with law enforcement and the New Jersey State Policeman’s Benevolent Association (PBA) to promote a new Ride Safe, Ride Free initiative to reward kids who practice bicycle safety in the community. The Freehold Borough Police Department and iPlay America, working with the state PBA, created a card with an exclusive offer for a FREE iPlay America iRide Pass to be given to kids by officers when they observe them bicycling safely. The program goes a step further offering free bike helmets to kids who may not have them. Starting in Freehold, the intention is to expand the program statewide.

“We appreciate iPlay America’s strong support of the PBA,” said officer Samuel Hernandez of the Freehold Borough. “The idea is to foster safe play for kids and to create a bond between officers and the community that allows kids to see officers as friends -- not just authority figures. By rewarding kids for demonstrating bike safety with a trip to the most family-friendly place, iPlay America, and to also be able to give free helmets to kids who need them, really makes this a complete package.”

“iPlay America is pleased to be an integral part of Ride Safe, Ride Free,” said Jessica Schwartz, vice president in charge of sales and marketing. “The opportunity to enjoy free rides at iPlay America is a giant motivator for kids.”
