MEET OUR TEAM MEMBER
Kelly Sendek
Special Projects Manager
Kelly recently joined the Unique Venues team as a CUR (Conversion, Upgrade, Renewal) Special Projects Manager. She graduated from Pitt Johnstown with a B.S. in Marketing, complemented by a minor in Information Systems and Entrepreneurship. Outside of work, Kelly loves weightlifting and focusing on nutrition. She goes to the gym about 3-5 days a week and always meal preps her lunches (she is inspiring!!). Another love of Kelly’s is spending time with her pets at home (dog and cat). Her favorite way to relax is going out for a nice dinner or to coffee shop for an iced latte. Something new she is working towards starting is a satellite chapter of the American Marketing Association for the Alleghenies. This will be a satellite of the nationally recognized Pittsburgh Chapter. The goal with bringing the AMA to the Alleghenies is to create a networking pool of local marketers and business professionals to create a stronger community locally.
- I built prototypes, mapped the business model for, and found a product-market fit for an elderly-accommodating garbage can. I won funding for my idea at a Shark Tank style pitch at Pitt Johnstown.
- I have served in the Army National Guard for over 6 years as an Aviation Operations Specialist. I make radio transmissions from the ground to our pilots to track their flights and I am the first person to be informed of any significant action occurring during a flight. I have been deployed to the Middle East during my term of service.
I love weightlifting and nutrition and have been on this journey of health and fitness for 12 years now.
