This depends not only on the campus or university you’re looking at but also on the state and district it resides in and the campus or university’s stance on alcohol for non-affiliated private events. Most venues will allow alcohol, but some may ban it, and some may require you to use their on-campus supplier rather than bringing your own.

Must I use university catering, or am I able to supply my own food?

What happens if I plan an outside event and it rains?
