Situated on the picturesque banks of the Thames River, Western opens its doors every May to August to provide summer guests with one-of-a-kind facilities and excellent services. Indoor meeting spaces includes 175 air-conditioned meeting rooms, over 200 classrooms, banquet facilities, lecture halls, amphitheaters and exhibit spaces. Outdoor space is also available, including vast open grassy areas for tents and marquis for special events. Full recreational facilities include a sport center, a 50-metre indoor swimming pool, an indoor ice rink, an indoor track and an 8,000seat outdoor stadium.
A brand new semi-private style 1,000 bed residence and private dining room will be available for conferences beginning in the 
summer of 2014. Western University accommodations range from traditional dormitory style to suite style rooms, all of which are ideal for youth groups, sports groups or adult conference attendees. And when compared to a hotel or conference center, the on campus accommodations are an affordable alternative.
Western University is fully accessible and conveniently located within a 2-hour drive of Niagara Falls, Toronto and Detroit. Western’s campus is peacefully set away from the bustle of downtown, providing a retreat-like distraction free setting for campus guests. While visiting London, commonly referred to as the “Forest City,” Conference Services can arrange for participants to enjoy the local “Tree Trunk Walking Tour,” which highlights London’s love of trees with magnificent tree carvings and sculptures that, instead of being confined to an art gallery, are right on the public streets. In addition, guests can visit Budweiser Gardens, located in the heart of downtown London, which hosts hockey events, concerts, and family shows year round.
