Getting to the meeting destination in Fredericton is easy. The local airport is just fifteen minutes away, and Fredericton is right on Highway 2, a main Canadian freeway connecting Halifax with Quebec and the St. Lawrence River. From the campus, you can bike the entire area, or stroll along as you check out the quaint shops and streets of the area.
Meeting space is available all year long at the UNB, but on-site housing is only booked during the summer months, from May through August. (Note: Limited housing may be available during the school year as well.) The Residence Halls and other housing combined can host as many as 1300 overnight, while the campus can accommodate six thousand guests in some 100 meeting rooms. Two hundred and fifty can be seated in classroom style at once, and the theatre holds four hundred. The UNB enjoys state-of-the-art AV and Internet technologies, which they are pleased to be able to share that with their guests. You can hold a teleconference or use the video conferencing facilities to bring the world to your meeting, or share it with the world.
