Recently, The Marcum’s experienced Chefs have taken on their latest role, as the judges for an exciting new team-building endeavor! The Marcum Hotel is proud to announce the development of a “chili-cookoff” team building activity for corporate groups. This one of a kind event is fun, fast-paced, and highly interactive. Small teams must work together to create a chili recipe, using “Marcum Money” to buy fresh ingredients from the market, and prepare a chili to be judged by the panel of Marcum chefs. As teams work together to create the best chili, they must also be aware of the additional factors of sanitation, safety, food waste, money management, plate presentation, and even writing down the song titles that are playing in the background. The chili-cookoff activity encourages groups to get on their feet, work together, and create a physical product, which is a fantastic way to get teams motivated, energized, and collaborating!
