Ramp Up Marketing & Capitalize

Marketing Tips

One of Unique Venues three offices is located near Vail, Colorado, a resort community. Tough job, but someone's gotta do it!

We've been watching our local marketers closely to see how they are preparing to handle the upcoming winter season. Vail Resorts CEO, Robert Katz (he's just 39 years old) told a large community group recently that while he knows the resort will be challenged this winter and while they probably won't be as profitable, his company is planning to INCREASE their marketing efforts significantly. He sees the current economic environment as a huge opportunity to pursue new markets and lure customers from competitors.

They're aren't alone. I'm reading this in all kinds of industry blogs, newsletters and magazines. Savvy business people and marketers see this business climate as a huge opportunity. While many companies and organizations pull back their sales and marketing efforts, these companies will ramp up and go in for the kill. When the fog lifts and the climate improves, they'll come out with more market share, better positioned for bigger profits.

Think twice before you freeze or trim your marketing budget. You could be missing out big time in the long run.
