Recently, Colorado College began the extensive project of renovating and expanding the El Pomar Athletic facility. This impressive modern fitness facility provides rock climbing, yoga, basketball and volleyball courts, lacrosse and soccer fields, and aerobic and fitness room. The new construction will also include additional offices, classroom space, and a separate fitness center. The 29,000-square-foot Fitness Center addition is expected to be completed in spring 2013 and will be available for sports camps, conferences, retreats, and team building exercises.
