Government Venue Round-up

Conference & Business Centers

We hope everyone had a great 4th of July. Today we have a round-up of some of our event venues that offer government specials in the District of Columbia area. First up we have Dumbarton House in Washington, DC.

Dumbarton House

The Dumbarton House frequently welcomes government groups. Dumbarton House was owned by Joseph Nourse, who was the first Register of the U.S. Treasury under every President until Andrew Jackson. The Dumbarton House has a 501c3 status which allows them to wor  k well with groups needing per diems. If the government group also qualifies as 501c3, they offer a 20% discount off of the hourly rate. If you are planning a Treasury event, consider hosting your venue at this unique location.

The Carriage House

The rates at the Carriage House are so much lower comparatively for the area. If you are limited on budget but still want to host a good size training session or planning meeting, this is the venue to use. They are in an easily accessible area of Washington, DC which makes it perfect for government events.

20 F Street NW Conference Center

Another great location within the Unique Venues portfolio is the 20 F Street NW Conference Center. For groups with a government or military affiliation, they offer a 15% discount off of the standard room rental rate. Custom catering packages can be created for groups in order to meet per diem rates.
