First up is Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall, a beautiful and historic theater that opened in 1926 next to the University of Southern California campus. This iconic theater and event facility has hosted numerous awards shows including the SAAG Awards and the Grammys. With room to seat 6,300 guests and the largest proscenium stage in North America, it’s no wonder celebrities and entertainers flock to the red carpet at the Shrine. Connected to the theater is Shrine Expo Hall, a convenient location to host a trade show or business event, and with 54,000 square feet of usable space, the sky is the limit for the guest list!
SoFi Stadium opened in 2020 and is the home to the LA Chargers and LA Rams. The state-of-the-art stadium reimagines the fan experience and has hosted a variety of events since it opened, including Super Bowl LVI in 2022, the College Football Championship Game in 2023, and plans to host the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympic Games in 2028. Located on the site of the former Hollywood Park racetrack, the stadium is the centerpiece of a 298-acre mixed-use development featuring retail, commercial office space, a hotel, residential units, and outdoor park spaces.
Just a short drive up the 405 from Sofi Stadium, find the sprawling University of California, Los Angeles. UCLA’s campus first established in 1919 on the west side of LA at the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains. Guests and planners can choose from many unique event spaces on this large campus like the Palisades Room – 6,700 sq. ft. of combined meeting space and a versatile open plan that can be divided into as many as 5 separate gathering spaces.
