The California State Parks is making the magnificent Asilomar Conference Grounds an available gathering place in the Monterey Peninsula area. Available for meetings, corporate events, awards and retreats, weddings, family and class reunions… Any occasion will enjoy the inspiring, breathtaking and serene California vibe and vistas of Asilomar, nestled as it is amidst the pines and coastal sand dunes. You' and your guests are certain to agree that Asilomar is everything they could possibly dream of!

The facilities at Asilomar are available as a very affordable package deal, on a per-person per-day basis. The modest fee includes three prepared meals, the meeting facilities and all taxes, so all you have to think about are your presentations and guest activities. Everything else, including the clean-up, is taken care of for you at these top-notch Monterey event facilities!

While this Montery California event facility is decidedly earthy, comfortable and barefoot intimate, that doesn't mean anyone is compromising on creature comforts or technologies! Wireless Internet access is present in meeting rooms (surplus applies.) While guest rooms do not have phones or television, that's an intentional choice, not a limitation. Up to 800 people can attend an event, and just under 700 can stay overnight. The Merrill Hall auditorium seats 650 and features a stage and Baldwin grand piano. The largest of 28 meeting rooms, the Chapel seats 195 and offers a Steinway grand piano in its classroom-style environment. Two of the other rooms, the Marlin and Sanderling, also have pianos.

There are three types of lodgings available at Asilomar event facility. Historic rooms are found in buildings built from 1913-1928, and feature hardwood floors, rustic-styled furnishings, and private baths. Standard rooms are decorated in a contemporary style and also have private baths with showers. Some even have a fireplace, patio or balcony! The suites can accommodate up to eight guests with plenty of elbow room!

Dry-cleaning services are available, and guests can enjoy a brisk swim in the Pacific ocean or relax in a 30' x 80' pool, open every day during daylight hours. Bicycles are available for rent, and cribs and extra beds can be provided with advance notice. Events can include barbecues, campfires, dances, sports activities, excursions, unique outings, ranger-guided park tours, or most anything else you can imagine!

Though Asilomar is definitely a place to get away from it all, the Monterey Peninsula airport is a mere 20 minutes away. San Jose, California is just 60 miles north, and wonderful, eclectic San Francisco is just 100 miles from this Walden-esque and decidedly unique venue!
