The Student Centers at Vanderbilt University have a wide variety of rooms available for weddings and social events. For example, Commodore Ballroom and Alumni Hall both offer spaces that can accommodate groups ranging from 10 to over 1000 guests. Meeting spaces at Vanderbilt are split between Alumni Hall, Kissam Center at the Warren & Moore College Halls, Sarrat Student Centers/ Rand Hall, and the Student Life Center with each venue offering its own special, reservable spaces for events as well. The state-of-the-art dining facility at The Commons Center includes a salad bar with sizzle station, Chef’s Table, specialty pizza oven, deli, wok, grill, and vegetarian/vegan food. The center is also the first gold-certified (certification for its environmentally friendly construction) building in Nashville.
The Rand Dining Center includes an expansive salad bar, grill, and a wide variety of meal options including vegetarian entrees and sides. Rand serves only 100% Fair Trade, locally roasted and organic Bongo Java coffee.
