Viking Pavilion in the heart of Portland, Oregon, can host everything from an intimate banquet to a polished conference to a lively vibrant event that seats up to 3,400. Viking has 14,000 square feet of arena floor space with multi-media display boards, plus an elegant concourse, versatile cafe and catering, six AV-equipped meeting rooms and multipurpose room spaces
Catering and private dining options are affordable, local and sustainable. We also offer audio visual support, Wi-Fi, on-site ticketing, convenient parking, event childcare, exercise facilities and overnight accommodations.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Portland, the OHSU-sponsored Viking Pavilion Regional Event Center can accommodate up to 3,400 guests and is perfect for sporting events, commencements, trade shows, conferences, dinners, receptions, lectures and more.

Smith's Kitchen
Inspired by Pine Street Market, Smith's Kitchen in the Student Union offers a unique cityscape of food and beverages that celebrate all things Portland. Savor local favorites including Smith Teamaker and Cha Cha Cha. Try something new at Simply PUUR and 503 Burger, run by PSU Eats.
Food Carts

A modern café in the Viking Pavilion with a versatile menu. From a bistro or restaurant to an event catering and staging area, the Versa Café can transform to meet your event needs. The Versa also serves athletic and event concessions including beer, wine and small plates.
Victor's Dining Center
Victor's Dining Center is an all-you-care-to-eat dining experience that is as dynamic as any restaurant featuring the following concepts:

Smith's Place
Smith's Place, located on the first floor of the Smith Memorial Student Union, is the only place in town that offers four local Portland favorites: Stumptown Coffee, Steven Smith Teamaker, Salt and Straw Ice Cream, and Roman Candle Bakery. Smith's Place will also feature handcrafted sandwiches from Butcher and Baker and an assortment of On The Go salads, wraps, and sandwiches.

A $15 day pass includes access to a two-court gymnasium, a 1/11 mile, three lane running track, a synthetic floor gymnasium equipped with dasher boards for floor hockey and indoor soccer, a large cardiovascular and weight training facility, two multi-purpose group fitness suites, an aquatic complex including a lap pool and whirlpool spa, locker rooms, a bouldering wall, and daily fitness classes.
Public Transportation: Getting around from here is a breeze! TriMet’s Lincoln Station and the MAX Line is just outside our front door and the Downtown Street Car is less than 3 blocks away – both can quickly get you anywhere downtown – connect you to the PDX Internatiuonal Airport, the Amtrak Station and many points beyond.

Portland State University offers diverse lodging options for conference guests. Options include studios, suites, and traditional residence hall rooms. We provide conference services for a variety of external and internal clients and events. We offer great value and will do our best to accommodate your needs.
