Northern Virginia 4-H Educational and Conference Center

Located in beautiful Harmony Hollow, just outside Front Royal, Virginia, the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational and Conference Center is a unique, beautiful location that is home to year-round camps and educational programs, as well as providing facilities and services to groups seeking a relaxed, economical retreat experience.

The Center is located on 229 acres beautifully situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains only 70 miles from Washington DC and easily accessible from I-81 and I-66. The property on which the Center now sits was the site of the former United States Calvary Remount Center, which deeded to Virginia Tech in 1976 for the creation of the 4-H Educational and Conference Center.

The Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center is ideally suited for weekend retreats, off-site meetings, or casual conferences for groups of any size. The Center’s unique location is easily accessible from major metropolitan areas, and offers a quiet, peaceful respite for your youth group, team or organization to reconnect, regroup and relax.Rooms and facilities are available to rent by the hour for a meeting or event, or may be reserved along with lodging for an overnight or longer event.We offer a range of room setup options as well as wifi, audiovisual equipment, and other services to meet any group’s needs.
