Lord Baltimore Hotel
About
The 23-story Lord Baltimore Hotel was the biggest hotel in Maryland when it was built in 1928. It was the final high-rise structure with classical architecture to be built in downtown Baltimore, and it bears the name of George Calvert, Lord Baltimore and the founder of the Maryland colony. The lobby has gracefully welcomed visitors for more than 80 years with its stately columns and classic furnishings, while the guestrooms have offered a level of comfort that was unique in the 1920s and is still uncommon now. From the event spaces to the guest suites, there are high-tech facilities everywhere. The Inner Harbor, the National Aquarium, Oriole Park at Camden Yards, and M&T Bank Stadium are just a short stroll from the Lord Baltimore Hotel, which located downtown.
