Frost Science

The four-level Aquarium building at Frost Science invites guests to immerse themselves in the stunning aquatic ecosystems of South Florida. Begin on the open-air top level, then descend below the waterline into a more intimate and immersive interior space. The most dominant feature is the 500,000-gallon cone-shaped Gulf Stream Aquarium, which spans three floors and provides corner-less cruising for fish of the open ocean. The bottom of the cone forms the ceiling of the Ocean Gallery, creating a dramatic exhibition and event space below. The custom aquarium buyout experience offers guests the opportunity to explore and discover all four levels of our aquarium building.

When arriving at Frost Science, you will enter through the museum’s Main Atrium. The Main Atrium is a unique elongated space, perfect for hosting your next cocktail party or reception. An outdoor but covered space, the atrium is also home to the signature donor wall, showcasing the generous supporters of Frost Science. The Main Atrium is an ideal space to introduce your guests to Frost Science.

Located on the secluded and quiet Level 5, the adaptable breakout rooms offer three meeting spaces of different sizes (780 sq. ft, 960. sq ft, and 1,353 sq. ft), with natural light and professional AV capabilities. Two of these rooms can also be combined into a large 1,740 sq. ft meeting or event space. Relaxing water views can be enjoyed from the adjacent terrace (2,170 sq. ft), a suitable space for meal breaks utilizing removable picnic tables. The terrace can also be a welcoming spot for a cocktail reception or for training breaks.

With 1,082 square feet, our Conference Suite and Terrace is our largest corporate space for meetings, presentations, or small conferences. The space also comes with a terrace offering dramatic sweeping views of Biscayne Bay, Downtown Miami, and the adjacent park.

The single large boardroom, with floor-to-ceiling windows and natural light, is very functional as it can be divided into two separate meeting rooms of different sizes (702 sq. ft and 380 sq. ft), both with built-in AV capabilities.

The 340 sq. ft terrace is a relaxing and private space for lunches or breaks, and can also be rented separately for receptions, cocktail parties, or networking events.

Host outdoor events for up to 1,200 people in this welcoming, open-air space surrounded by blue skies, blue seas, and an outdoor science exhibit. Tents or chairs can be easily added for festivals, outdoor performances, and dancing.

Enlighten the senses of your guests with an unforgettable experience in one of the most advanced planetariums in the world. Your presentation, screening, product launch or lecture can become both a visual and educational experience in the Frost Planetarium, using its 16-million-color 8K visual system and crisp surround sound. Immerse up to 250 attendees in the action as the tilted screen, spanning 67 feet, fills the viewers’ field of vision, and the permeating sound completes the excitement of this virtual journey.

Enhance your screening with customizable laser light shows and a special soundtrack, or by adding your branding or company logo to a presentation.

Complete the experience with appetizers, plated meals, or cocktails in the cozy but inviting Frost Planetarium pre-function space. Customizable screens and a canopy of stars surround this space, making it an ideal spot for a pre or post-function reception or seated dinner.

Who doesn’t love a downtown rooftop cocktail reception? The observation deck on the museum’s top level, showcasing native vegetation and solar exhibits, offers privacy and amazing panoramic views. It is an ideal venue for happy hours, cocktail receptions, or networking events that will have guests elated with the beautiful surroundings.

This 3,275 square foot open-air rooftop space comes with an alternative backup venue in case of sudden changes in the tropical Miami weather.
