The University of St. Thomas offers two meeting locations in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Both campuses offer smart and sophisticated meeting and Minnesota event facilities featuring complimentary Wi-Fi and AV.
The Minneapolis campus located in the heart of downtown and our St. Paul campus located on historic Summit Avenue are ideal venues for savvy meeting planners. Professional onsite event managers guide you through the planning process and provide services such as on-site event management, space selection, event execution, coordination of audio and video needs for your event, as well as offering liaison to our award-winning Dining Services Department and affordable lodging options for guests. The University of St. Thomas event professionals provide planners and attendees superior meeting experiences in an exceptional learning environment.

We offer easy access to many amenities within the Twin Cities; our two locations are a quick 15-minute drive to Minneapolis, St. Paul International Airport, the Mall of America, Target Field, Target Center, Xcel Energy Center and US Bank Stadium. Meeting & Event Spaces
Thorton Auditorium
The Thornton Auditorium is the smaller of two theater style auditoriums on the Minneapolis campus. This space seats 220 and has a large stage area suitable for general session presentations or panel forum events. The room is centrally located in the University and is close to both dining spaces and breakout classrooms.
Terrence-Murphy Dining Room
The Minneapolis campus has several dining room options for your guests. Our on-site Catering Staff can serve a plated or buffet meal in either location.
Terrence-Murphy Hall Atrium
The Terrence Murphy Hall Atrium is the main entrance for the Minneapolis campus. It is also home to the famed Frescos painted on the ceiling. It serves as a reception area for 200.
Terrence-Murphy Classrooms
Classrooms in Terrence Murphy Hall are located near the Thornton Auditorium making them convenient breakout spaces. All have full technology built in and have natural lighting.
Schulze Auditorium & Atrium
The Schulze Auditorium is the crown jewel of the Opus College of Business. This two story grand meeting space seats 324. The built in technology is state of the art and ready for your event. It comes equipped with a PC, LCD, screen, mics and wireless internet. The Schulze Atrium is located just off of the Schulze Hall Auditorium. This space can be used in conjunction with the auditorium for registration, exhibitors or cocktail reception. The lounge seating located on in the atrium allows for a quiet place for guests to enjoy.
Schulze Tiered Classroom
Both the Minneapolis and St Paul campuses offer several styles of meeting rooms. There are several tiered classrooms offering desktop VGA and electrical plugins making them laptop friendly.
Schulze Classrooms
Classrooms in Schulze Hall are located near the Schulze Hall Auditorium making them convenient breakout spaces. All have desktop plugins, full technology built in and natural lighting.
Opus Hall Great Rooms
Natural lighting brightens this open ballroom format Great Room. The room set with rounds, has three LCD's and three screens allowing guests to view presentations from any area. The presentation podium is moveable, giving the presenter a choice of room format. The Great Room also has a partition wall which can be closed making two separate spaces. Nearby breakout classrooms make this an excellent conference choice.
Opus Hall Classrooms
Classrooms in Opus Hall are located near the large Great Room space making them convenient breakout spaces. All have full technology built in and have natural lighting.
Minneapolis School of Law Schulze Grand Atrium
The Schulze Grand Atrium is our premier event space in downtown Minneapolis. The 5,000 square foot glass enclosed atrium offers a beautiful location for a gala or reception up to 350. It also lends itself to a conference general session space with breakout classrooms steps away. It has an adjoining outdoor “green” courtyard with fabulous city skyline views.
Minneapolis School of Law Classrooms
Classrooms in the Minneapolis School of Law are centrally located near the Schulze Grand Atrium space making them convenient breakout spaces. All have desktop plugins, full technology built in and have natural lighting. There are eight classrooms, seating 70-98.
James B. Woulfe Alumni Hall
This grand space is ideal for groups of 600 at a seated meal or 900 seated theater style. Woulfe Hall is equipped with built in, LCD projectors, drop down screens and all the technology required to run a sophisticated program.
Iversen Hearth Room
Warm and intimate, the Hearth room is perfect for receptions or informal meetings for up to 65 guests. The room features a fireplace, all the technology required for presentations and lovely views of historic Summit Avenue.
ASC Private Dining Rooms & Scooters
The Anderson Student Center features four private dining rooms offering seating for up to 48 guests; ideal for private events or meetings. Another Campus favorite is Scooters; a lightfilled flexible meeting venue for up to 200 guests on the first floor of the Anderson Student Center with complete AV, televisions and arcade games.
Anderson Student Center meeting rooms, Dance and Bowling Venues
The Univeristy of St. Thomas Anderson Student Center highlights what is best about college campus meetings and events. Our LEED gold certified student center was designed with fun and function; opened in 2012, ASC is the space for gathering on our St. Paul campus. Our 13 private meeting rooms offer an ideal work environment for groups from six to sixty. Socializing and fellowship are encouraged in our Bowling alley and Dance venues as well as throughout the building where lounges and dining options are plentiful. The Anderson Student Center spaces are suitable for Conference groups, welcome receptions, private parties and youth groups.
Palmer Athletic Field
Palmer Field has a state-of-the-art Field Turf synthetic surface and is bordered by the 5,000 seat outdoor O’Shaughnessy Stadium; the North Field is natural grass that can be lined for any sport
Field House
The Field House boasts 50,000 square feet of playing surface including a with 200-meter, six-lane track. The Field House features tennis, volleyball and basketball courts.
Schoenecker Arena and Steve Fritz Court
Schoenecker Arena features classic high end wooden court and seats 1,800 basketball spectators.
O'Shaughnessy Education Center Auditorium
The O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium is an intimate venue seating up to 622 guests. Equipped with advanced technology this is the ideal plenary space for your conference participants with dozens of break-out rooms located nearby.
John Roach Auditorium
Seating 194 people in stadium-style chairs, this venue is ideal for media presentations and guest lecturers.
3M Auditorium
This south campus auditorium offers seating capacity for 144. This venue is the preferred meeting space for small conference plenary sessions or large break-outs. State-of-the-art technology meets almost any presentation media requirements.
McNeely Great Room
The Great Room features floor to ceiling windows and access to inviting outdoor patio space. This room features presentation AV components including LCD projector, screen, microphone and computer.
Binz Refectory
A South Campus Favorite, the Binz offers dining and meeting space for up to 250 guests.
St. Paul Campus Classrooms
The St. Paul campus of the University of St. Thomas offers over 75 classrooms available for conferences, meetings, camps and seminars. Most classrooms are equipped with audio visual and presentation equipment.

Morrison Hall
Morrison Hall offers air conditioned, apartment-style housing for 340 residents. Apartments have four private, lockable bedrooms and standard living room and bedroom furnishings and complimentary Wi-Fi. Kitchenettes include a microwave oven, refrigerator and sink. Free underground parking is available.
Flynn Hall
Flynn Hall air conditioned apartments feature full kitchens and two full baths. Standard living room and bedroom furnishings are included as well as complimentary Wi-Fi. Laundry facilities and underground parking are available free of charge; lockable bicycle storage is also available.

Event Staff
The University of St. Thomas Conference & Event staff provides full service support from planning to completion. Expert assistance is on site to coordinate venue set-up, event support and takedown. The Conference and Events office serves as your main point of contact for all campus departments and services.
AV Tech Support
University AV staff are ready to assist you with any issues that may arise. We have dedicated staff on both campus locations who are on site Monday through Saturday.
Public Safety Staff
The Department of Public Safety, in partnership with the campus community is dedicated to creating and promoting a safe, secure and peaceful environment by applying policies and laws, delivering emergency services and performing requests for assistance. They have emergency protocols in place for weather and health emergencies to provide assistance in any situation.
