About
Lost Valley is our seasonal retreat center in the Christian Retreats Network; open annually from May to Mid-October. This Northern Michigan retreat center is located 7 miles off I-75 in Gaylord, Michigan. Lost Valley features recreation and accommodations for up to 250 overnight guests. Our retreat packages include everything your group needs to have a successful ministry event: lodging, a private meeting space with complimentary A/V equipment, buffet dining, and recreation. Add some excitement to your Michigan event with our adventure recreation! Lost Valley offers your group an away-from-it-all experience with modern amenities in a setting close to nature. It is affiliated with Faholo Conference Center in Grass Lake, Michigan.
Meeting & Event Spaces
Lost Valley Auditorium
Complimentary Amenities The main Auditorium has a seating capacity of 280 people. The Auditorium is set up with a stage platform and stage lights. Meeting space allocations is subject to availability. Our Guest Service team will set-up your meeting space to your specifications prior to arrival.
Lost Valley Meeting Space
Additional to the main auditorium several other meetings spaces are available for guests staying at Lost Valley Retreat Center. The Activity Center boasts high ceilings with a seating capacity of 250 people. Additionally, a small meeting room/nursery for 20-30 people is also available. The meeting space inside the retreat center overlooks the lake through large picture windows. Seating for up to 75 in a variety of seating styles is available. There is also a small conference room overlooking the valley available for about 20-25 people.
Food & Beverage Options
Lost Valley Dining
Breakfast buffet meals usually include special home-baked bread, make-your-own waffles, an egg dish, a meat, both hot and cold cereal, fruit, and beverage center. Other options are available, check out some of the example menus.Our food service offers all-you-can-eat buffet meals with self service beverage stations and soup & salad bar (priced with Group Retreat Packages). Lunch and dinner menus will be selected with care for the type of groups we have on grounds. Menus take in to consideration the balance of children, youth, and adult groups scheduled at the time, so that menu choices will meet the needs of everyone. At each meal there is a meat item, several side dishes, fruit and vegetable salad bar generally with a daily soup, a dessert item, and beverage center (juices, coffee, tea, and water).
Accommodations
Lost Valley Retreat Center
The accommodations offered in the Retreat Center allow guests to kick back and relax during their stay at Lost Valley Christian Retreat Center. The retreat center & adjacent motel are open three seasons. This distinctive building is a favorite for adult and family retreats because it is a self contained facility with lodging, meeting, & dining all under one roof. It also offers groups the opportunity to stay a different lodging levels if they choose and not be spread out over multiple facilities. It is conveniently located near the auditorium, motel, and Warnick Activity Center. Open Three-Seasons.
Lost Valley Economy Dorms
Each room includes bunk beds with multiple room configurations for up to 175 people. The dormitory rooms are contained inside cabins facing the lake and the valley, most each cabin has two rooms and the Lodge features ten rooms. The buildings use community restroom located nearby. Dorm retreat packages do not include linens, but linens can be added for an additional charge. Open May 1-September 30
Lodge
The Lodge includes 10 guest rooms. 8 guest rooms offer 2 bunk beds, sleeping up to 4 people. 1 guest room offers 3 bunk beds, sleeping up to 6 people. 1 guest room offers 8 bunk beds, sleeping up to 16 people. They all combine for a 54 capacity.Restroom and shower facilities are located nearby in the Warnick Activity Center. Dorm retreat packages do not include linens, but linens can be added for an additional charge.
Cabins
There are 8 different cabins, each facing the lake and the valley. The cabins use community restroom and shower facilities located nearby. Dorm retreat packages do not include linens, but linens can be added for an additional charge.
